Mr. and Mrs. \V. C. Carnpliell entertained at their home, Twinland at a lawn supper on Friday evening in honor of her daughter and cousin, Mrs. Paulson of Hilton Village and Mrs. Frank Umstat of Tampa, Florida. Her guests were Mrs. Umstat and daughter, Sarah, Mrs. J. Frank Jones, Carolyn Gates Turner, Becky Jones and house guests, Mr. and Mrs. John Paulson and family.
Mrs. Maury Brown and son-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Shirey and Miss Jean Brown visited Mr. Brown at McGuire Hospital in Richmond Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Fiddle Gore and Mrs. Brown visited Mr. Brown on last Wednesday. His condition remains very much the same.
Mrs. Frank Bennett and Mrs. Griffin Durant of Culpeper were overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. Carroll Menefee. On Sunday, Mrs. Menefee and sister, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Durant motored to Martinsburg, West Virginia to visit their brother, Cornelius Smith, who is a patient at New ton D. Baker Hospital. He is reported to he improving.
Mrs. Frank Umstot spent Sunday night with her sister, Mrs. J. Frank Jones. Mrs. Jones had as her dinner guests at the Lee Highway Hotel on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Turner, Carolyn Gates Turner, and John Turner, Mrs. F'rank Umstot and daughter, Sarah, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones and family, Becky, Sieger, and Ned Moffett, Mrs. John A. Keyser and Mrs. Holmes Flail.
