■there is no way to determine haw much good has heen done by the Red Cross swimming classes conducted in the county. Numbers of youngsters have learned to swim. Beyond the value of furnishing a means of entertainment and healthful exercises for young people, there is no way to know how many tragic deaths have been wiped out with every child who has learned to take care of himself in the water.
Let us say that if one child has been saved, the whole class was more than worth any amount of money and effort put forth When He read in papers of so many tragic accidents at beaches and in farm ponds, we realize that there is no way to determine exactly how much good has been done. Those who conducted the classes, or contributed in any way toward having the classes put on, have a right to know within their own hearts that the good they have done cannot be and may never be measured.
