Music Festival Season
Opens Sunday
Sunday, August 3, will mark the beginning of the second summer season of music making at the old Avon Mills on Rush River, Washington, Va. when Irene Hammerstrom, and Leroy Mathwig, violinist will be presented in a pre-festival vocalviolin recital at 4:000 E. S. T. This ensemble program points toward the general plan of the Blue Ridge Music Festival Board to present group programs of combination recitals and orchestra ensemble on its programs this summer.
