year about 26,50b farmers voted in the election, which constituted about 21 per 'cent of those eligible, to vote, PMA reported. Any farmer who participates in any one of the PMA programs or who is eligible for price support may vote.
County committeemen, in addition to administration of PMA business, also serve on the county Agricultural ^Mobilization Committee, the chairman of the latter being the PMA chairman. The balance of the PMA committee is made up of representatives of Federal and State agricultural agencies
PMA committeemen receive no salary. They are paid only a small amount of expense money for the days they serve, usually only two or three days in a month on the average.
