A plate supper consisting of fried /chicken, potato* salad, sliced ,tomatoes, buttered peas, pickles, hot rolls, coffee, feed tea and pudding will beserved by Boy Scout Troop No. 65 of Sperryville, Thursday, August 21, between the hours of 6 and 7:30 p.m. in the basement of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville.
This is being done to offer boys in Scout Troop the opportunity to earn' some needed money to be used for supplies necessary for troop’s work. Tickets will go, on sale Monday, Aug. 18. Any member of the Troop will be delighted to sell you a ticket. If you would like to phone for a reservation, phone either Sperryville 3261 or 2825, Because this is the first adventure into th£ fine art of preparing and serving food to paying guests by these boys, it is necessary to limit the number of guests to forty. The boys must know by Thursday .noon of the day of the supper how many paying guests to expect. The cost per plate will be $1.
