To Organize Auxiliary
Friday, August 8 a group of tallies of Amissville met to form the Ladies Auxiliary of the newly formed Amissville Volunteer Frre Department. Mrs. Mitchell Green was ‘selected temporary chairman to contact ladies in the surrounding vicinity to meet Friday, August 22, to elect officers.
The meeting will be held at *the temporary fire house at Elmer Jenkins’ garage and all the ladies are • cordially invited. The Amissville laB dies state that any help the auxiliaries of C'ulpcjper and Washington might give will be appreciated.
