Pvt, Charles William Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. ‘Oscar Jenkins, of. Slate Mills, is spending an eighteenday furlough with his -parents. Pvt. Jenkins has completed his basic training at Camp Breckinridge, Ky. He will report to New Jersey where he will be assigned to oversea duty.
Mrs. Nellie Fincham, of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. OsCar Jenkins, of Slate Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and daughter Virginia, were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins of Woodville.
