TICKETS ON SALE Students have been selling tickets since October 1. Prizes including 10 turkeys and 10 hens will be given away on November 19, in the Carver gym at 8 p.m. An indoor carnival will be in progress up to the time of giving away of the prizes. We are planning on having everything that an outdoor carnival would have with the the exception of rides. Games, prizes, dancing, band music, soft drinks, popcorn, candy, apples and plenty of food. A crowd of approximately 400-500 people will be expected to attend this very colorful affair in the Carver gym.
Plans have already been made for this program with the students ' of the agriculture department, F. W. Nichols, instructor, building booths and games. We are grateful to the Agriculture department for the help they are giving us and help they have given in the past for this annual affair.
SPIRITUAL CONCERT
TO BE GIVEN
Three of the counties greatest spiritual singers will give a concert in the Carver gym on Febru* ary 1, 1955. The three singers will be Madam Marie Knight, Sister Rosetta Thorpe and Wynona Carr. This big attraction is being sponsored by the Culpeper branch of the Band Sponsors Club. It will be the last big program of the year to raise money for uniforms.
There will be choir rehearsal Thursday night at 7:30, both senior and junior choirs. .
