Amissville Home Demonstration Club reorganized their club for the coming year and selected the following officers: President, Mrs. Luther Stuart; Vice President, Mrs. Will Walter; Prog. Dev. Leader. Mrs. Luther Stuart; Fed. Goal Chr., Mrs. A. C. Latham, Sr. Home Mgt. Ldr., Mrs. Charles Green; Crafts Leader, Mrs. Les Walter; Secretary, Mrs. Catherine Riley. “Easier and Shorter Wash Days” was topic of demonstration-given by home agent.

Mrs. M. W. Brown was hostess of F. T. Valley H. D. club, Thursday. Homemade gifts were shown during the meeting. Mrs. T. J. Pillar demonstrated the method used in Hooking Rugs.

Mrs. R. M. Johnson entertained Woodville H. D. club, Friday : afternoon. During business session officers were elected as follows: President, Mrs. Ruth Orange; VPresident, Mrs. R. M* Johnson, Secretary, Miss Nellie Johnson; Fed. Goal Chr., Miss Catherine Orange, tym Mattie Rector; Youth Goal Chr., Mis. Lillie Barber; Home Mgt. Ldr., Mrs* R. M. Johnson; House Furnish. Ldr., Miss Bertha Johnson Crafts, Mrs. George Bowman. “Homemade Gifts” was the topic of the meeting. The members brought a total of 12 gift suggestions. ..

Allan Hitt gave an excellent demonstration on ‘Cleaning Your Teeth” at the Forest Grove 4-H meeting Friday morning. The project /work during November meeting was on “Eating the Right Foods and Adventures of the Com. M. Tater Family.

Albert Beecher, Horticulture Specialist, made home visits to families requesting help. Mr. Beecher landscaped the home grounds and aided with problems concerning lawns and plant material. Families with which he worked this time were Mrs. Ralph Rowzie, Raymond Johnson, Rev. George Bowman and Mrs. W. H. Lyne.
