R.C.H.S. will close for the Thanksgiving Holiday on. Wed., November 24. Pupils will return to school on Monday, November 29th. A Thanksgiving program will be held Wednesday afternoon with a talk by the Rev. George W. Bowman III. The Glee Club under the direction of Mrs. Paul Nichols will sing.
Mr. Lemley will be at RCHS on Friday, December 3, to take school pictures. He will begin at —9:30 a.m. If parents with children of pre-school age would like to have them photographed, they may bring them at this time.
Mendine, the magician, will give his annual performance on November 19 at 10 :30 a.m.
November 7-13 was American Education Week. The primary grades and high school had a total of about 30 visiting parents on Friday, November 12. The Home Economics classes served refreshments to the visitors. The third grade presented a flag program conducted by Sandra Menefee.
All teachers from Rappahannock County will attend a teachers meeting at Warren County High School on Saturday, November 20.
