Webster Williams
Webster Wesley Williams, a retired farmer of Rappahannock, died Thursday morning, November 11 at his home in Viewtown, following a lingering illness.
Mr. Williams, a native of Rappahannock County, was' born in 1873, the son of the late George Williams and Mrs: Alice 1 tail Williams, both of Rappahannock.
He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Mabel Weakley Williams of Viewtown; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle North and Mrs. Nettie Williams and two brothers, Norah and Cary Williams, all of Chester Gap. Burial services were conducted
the Forest Grove Baptist in Church, Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Harold Carder with interment in the church cemetery. Warren Smith, Otis Hitt, Russell Smith, Sherman Williams, David Williams, Louie Smith, Jack Smith and Horace Scott were active pallbearers at the burial. Among the honorary pallbearers were Elmer Hitt, Allen Cooper, Eugene Dodson, Theodore Barron, Brown Smith, Wilt Corbin, Edmund Martin, Arthur Woodward, Paul S. Smith, Everett Smith and D. J, R. Boldridge.
