Sgt. Frank Edwards, who is stationed in Detroit, has been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buford Edwards at Amissvillc and has gone to New York fur a few days. He will return to Amissville Friday for a visit before returning to Camp.
Dinner guests of Rev. and Mrs. -S. W. Timbers on Sunday were Mr. Charlie Ball, Sr., Mr. Charlie Ball, Jr., and wife, 2 children, Chuck and Marion from Alexandria.
Mr. Henry Jackson and Tamey, Mrs. Hattie Jackson, Freddie Jackson, went to Fairfax on Sunday morning to visit Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Jackson. Mrs. Jackson has been very ill, but is much mproved at this time.
Dinner guests in the Jackson home Sunday night were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jackson and baby daughter, Ann of Washington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jackson of Burke.
Mrs. Margraet Hunter spent several days in New York City, visiting her daughter, Mrs. Mary Wilson who underwent an operation in Medical Center Hospital.
