Announcement has been made by the Philadelphia manufacturing firm of M. L. Snyder and Son of the appointment of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department as their exclusive distributor in Rappahannock Qounty. The Snyder organization manufactures a complete line of fire extinguishers, fireman’s equipment, etc.
On March 1st the members of the WVFD will start selling to the home owners, farmers, garage owners, and industrial plants in the County the finest fire extinguisher available on the .market today, the“Stempel” 2 3/4 lb. No. 503 extinguisher.
It is a dry chemical pressurized fire extinguisher with Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual, Interstate Commerce Commission, and U. S. Coast Guard approval, as to either meeting or exceeding their quality specifications. The unit has a 6:B-C rating and is capable of‘extinguishing most fires. Of particular note is its effectiveness against electrical and fires of an oily nature.
Cost is always a prime factor in determinig the salability of any article and we have in this extinguisher a “real bargain” for all the people of Rappahannock. The unit will sell for $11.00 each in the home model and $11.50 each in the truck or tractor model. If
