Lea, Jr. Pass'es ’
State Bar
T. C. Lea, Jr., son of Mrs. T. C. Lea of Washington, Va., was included in the list of candidates who passed the Virginia State Bar Examination held in Richmond in December. When notified of this, Mr. Lea called his mother to tell her the good news.
Mr. Lea was graduated from Augusta Military Academy, Fort Defiance, Va. and he received his BA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg before entering the T. C. Williams Law School of the University of Richmond where he will receive his law degree in June.
He is married to the former Sally Elizabeth Howie of Staunton, and they have two children, Elizabeth Page, age two and T. C. Ill, seven months.
G. W. B. Dinner
Washington Methodist Church will have their annual George Washington Birthday Dinner on Friday, February 23rd at the parish hall in Washington, Va. It will begin at 5 p. m. and last till 7 p. m. The price will be $1.25 for adults and 75c for children. The menu will consist of country* ham and roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, home made rolls,, and assorted homemade pies.
