E. C. Podson

Edgar Columbus Dodson of Keedysville, Md. died Friday, February 16, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Dell Dodson at Sperryville. Son of the late Stephen Douglas Dodson and Mary Dodson, and a native of Rappahannock County, he had resided in Maryland in recent years. He was 67.

Mr. Dodson was twice married, his first wife being the former Miss Rosie Brown of Rappahannock County. From this marriage he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dell Dodson of Sperryville.

From his second marriage to the former Miss Susie Elizabeth Riley of Culpeper County, who died in 1943, he leaves five daughters, Mrs. Carrie Virginia Tharpe, Mrs. Clarence Rensburg and Mrs. Wilbert Binganman, all of Mercersburg, Pa,, Mrs. Albert Sine of Middletown,. Va., and Mrs. Carroll Ritenour of Winchester; and two sons, Edgar C. Dodson, Jr., of Winchester and Charles A. Dodson of Keedysville, Md.
