“Mt. Vernon”, the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black, Sperryville, was the setting for the marriage Saturday of their daughter Faye, to Mr. Louis C. Hodges, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Hodges of Dodson, N. C.
The Rev. H. E. Nicholson performed the ceremony at two o’clock.
The house was decorated with white gladiolas snap dragons and sweet peas accented by the green of pine.
Mrs. Paul Nichols of Flint Hill played “O Promise Me” and the traditional wedding marches.
