The last verse well describes the? attitude, and willingness to
p|it "first things first.
Toq many of us are trying to justify our constant neglect of the church activities and spiritual development of our souls by finding something else to do. We often plan other activities when we know quite well they will conflict with our church responsbilities. Equally as tragic we can allow our professions, our secular business, and the concern of our homes to become our God, thus neglecting our responsibility to God and His church. Anything that we allow to become between us and God becomes our God.
Each of us might well ask ourself the very searching question, “If every person in the church were just like me what kind of church would my church be.”
“Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for it.”
