The Oakton Methodist Church was the scene of the wedding of Miss Laura Virginia Copperthite, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Copperthite of Vienna and Castleton and Mr. Thomas A. Reilly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Fisher of Elkridge, Maryland on Saturday, August 18.

The double ring ceremony was performed by Dr. Elmer C. Lewis, pastor of the Oakton Methodist Church.

Arlington spent Sunday at Mountain View.

Renolds Jenkins of Alexandria was a dinner guest of his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Deal on Saturday.

Luncheon guests on Friday of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates of Meadow Green were Mrs. Louisa Durant and Miss Margaret Reilly of Washington, D. C. Frank Gibb who has been spending some time with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James Yates returned home with his aunts.

Mr. and Mrs. Lillars were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard and family.

Those attending the M. Y. F. meeting at Culpeper Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon were; Mrs. Harry Gallihugh, Misses Eilens Lillard, Ruth Ann and Linda Jones, Grant Lillard, Donnie Gallihugh cettd Danny Jenkins.

Murphy Weakley of Richmond spent several days this week with his mother, Mrs. E. H. Weakley.

Mrs. Robert Lillard is quite sick with a back ailment.

Miss Pat Updike and Donnie Gallihugh attended a 4-H Meeting and picnic supper on Wednesday night at the home of Betty and Bobby Finks at Criglersville.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Deal and daughters Carol and Mrs. Terry Davis and children visited Charlie Jenkins of Boyce, Mr. and Mrs. George Deal of Berryville and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jenkins of Winchester on Sunday.
