Mr. Tapp chose as his best man, John A. Tapp of Amissville. His ushers were John Hackley of Arlington and James Whisenant of Front Royal.
Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Dudley J. Martin, aunt and uncle of the bride, gave a reception at Lake Jackson Lodge.
The couple left later in the evening for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada.
The bride wore for traveling a dress of lilac shantung with navy blue accessories and the orchid corsage from her bridal bouquet.
Mr. Tapp is a well known Texaco dealer in Warren and Fauquier counties. Mr. Tapp has been a (Sinclair dealer and merchant at Amissville for a number of years.
Upon their return, they will make their home at Amissville.
