iiappahannock ASC County Committee announces the designation of Averette Witcher, 1213 Greenwood Drive, Danville, Virginia, as acting manager of the Rappahannock ASCS County Office. He is a county office manager trainee and has served in several Virginia counties since May. Mr. Witcher came here from Franklin County.
The committee will accept applications for the vacancy resulting from M. C. Gore’s resignation through Friday, September 21, 1962. An application blank may be secured from the local office.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States, between the ages of 21 and 50, and have graduated from a high school or equivalent recogni zed school. They must be of good character with a temperament and personality suitable for a representative of the committee in dealing with farmers, businessmen and others. Only male applicants will be considered.
