Mrs. Carson Anderson were Mrs. Jack Sisk and son Wood Sisk, Mrs. Doris Baumgardner and son Jay and David Sisk, all of Balitmore, Md. Sunday visitors of the Andersons were Mr. and Mrs. Aden Sisk and family of Glen Burnie, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin and daughter Nancy were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kamminga in Annandale. Over night guests Tuesday of the Buntins were Mrs. Lowell Jennings of Danville and Robert Buntin of Tampa, Fla. For the day Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Buntin had as guests Mr. and Mrs. Kamminga.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Updike, Miss Annie Cooksey and Mrs. Lauemma Moffett attended a Shiloh Baptist meeting Saturday at Ruckersville.
Sam Snead left Tuesday to enroll in Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal. Wednesday, Ray Snead returned to Virginia Military Institute, Lexington for his second year. He was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. R. V. Snead and Mrs. C. J. Miller.
Mrs. Bertha Armel spent the day Monday in Charlottesville.
Mrs. P. W. Scudere remains a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital after undergoing emergency abdominal surgery last week. Her condition is satisfactory.
Mrs. Leroy Hall and family left Tuesday for their home in Lakeland, Fla. after an extended with with Mrs. Hall’s mother, Mrs. Downing Wood and her family.
