In Federal Service
Applications are now being accepted for the 1963 Federal Service Entrance Examination the United States Civil Service Commission has announced. This examination, open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students regardless of major study, as well as to persons who have had equivalent experience, offers the opportunity to begin a career in the Federal Service in one of some 60 different occupational Helds. A written test is required.
The positions to be filled from the FSEE are in various Federal agencies and are located in Washington, D. C., and throughout the United States. Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, starting salaries will be $4,345 or $5,355 a year. Management Internships with starting salaries of $5,355 or $6,435 a year, will also be filled from this examination.
Applicants who apply by September 27, 1962, will be scheduled for the written test to be held on October 13, 1962. Six additional tests have been scheduled during the year. The dates are: November 17, 1962, January 12, February 9, March 16, April 20, and May 11, 1963.
The closing date for acceptance of applications for Management Internship is January
