The Children’s Home Society of Virginia has placed 631 babies in adoptive homes in the last five years, W. A. Roper, president of the society reported today.
Last year the Society received 154 babies into its care and placed 148 babies in adoptive homes.
The Children’s Home Society was organized in 1900. It gets the money for its work from contributions from people all over Virginia.
Miss Mary M. Wood, chairman of this year’s campaign which is now being conducted in Rappahannock County has called upon the people of the County to give generously to support the work of this most worthwhile organization.
