We grow ‘em big in Rappahannock . . . When Bummy Thornton arrived at S.M.A. lasfc week about the only clothing, they could issue him was a raiq coat. Couldn’t find a uniform with legs or sleeves long enough; shoes likewise. He probably felt like that “little ber, nighted Hindu.”
