The Madison Center of University of Virginia' opened Monday, Sept 17, with orientation of 30 new students and classes began Tuesday morning.
Evening classes will begin Monday, Sept. 24, with students requested to register in advance.
Courses offered in the day program include a full first year college course; English composition, American history, elementary French, mathematical analysis, algebra, general chemistry, and fundamentals of grammar and composition."
Classes for credit in the evening program are math for elementary teachers, theory and practice of guidance, history of Western civilization and American history. Non-credit courses offered are fundamentals of grammar and composition; farm, business and home accounts and algebra.
