The Rev. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur and their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wilbur and Mrs. Fletcher of Miami, Oklahoma were dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds and Miss Mary Miller Wood at the home of Miss Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur and Mrs. Fletcher left by plane for their home on Friday.
Miss Ruth Stevens and Miss Addie Boyd were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Mattie W. Miller in Culpeper.
Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and G. W. Smith, III were guests Sunday of Mrs. G. W. Smith at North Garden.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle and Miss Kate Walker.
The Rev. Warren Wilbur conducted his first service Sunday, September 16th at the Flint Hill Baptist Church since undergoing surgery August 21st. His sermon subject was “The Hardwire of the Bible”.
