New Herd Bull
A bull with a fancy name and what animal husbandmen call “extremely good beefy rear quarters” is a new resident at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Kickapoo Beau Chief, son of Calrossie Highland Chiefton, a famous imported bull from Scotland, is VPI’s new herd bull. He was bought at the International shorthorn sale in Chicago for $900 from Mr and Mrs. Stanley G. Harris of Kickapoo F a r m s i n Kenosha, Wis., and was a men> ber of their award-winning show herd.
