to conservation uses in addition to normal conservation uses on the farm in the base years 1959-60.
The minimum diversion for payment is 20 per cent of the total farm feed grain base.
The maximum diversion is the larger of 25 acres of 40 per cent of the total feed grain base not to exceed the feed grain base.
Payment for the minimum diversion of 20 per cent below the farm feed grain base will be at 20 per cent of the county price-support r ate times the yield per acre established for the farm. Payment on additional ! acreage diverted within the I maximum will be at 50 per ' cent of the county price-sup; port rate times the farm’s ' yield per acre. Where thfe entire feed grain base of not more than 25 acres is diverted, the 50 per cent rate will apply. In such cases no corn, grain sorghum,- nor barley may be planted. Price support for corn, grain sorghum and barley will be available only to those producers who participate in the 1963 feed grain program and will be in two parts: (1) a loan or purchase agreement on the 1963 feed grain production, and (2) a price-suppo rt payment based on acreage grown which will be made after compliance has been checked.
