Benson-Chapman
Miss Patricia Ann Chapman, of Falls Church, Va, and Mr. David G. Benson, Jr. of Jacksonsville, Fla. were united in marriage Saturday Jan. 19 at the Graham Road Methodist Church by the Rev. Raymond Bodie. The bride wearing a suit dress of beige brocade satin with matching accessories was given in marriage *by her uncle, Bud Rowzie. Following the ceremony, a small reception was held at the home of the brides mother, Mrs. Mae Chapman. The couple will make their home in Florida, where the groom has accepted a position.
Bennett-Atkins
Miss Shirley Anne Atkins, daughter of Mrs. Virgie M. Atkins and the late Robert E. Atkins of Sperryville, became the bride of James Lloyd Bennett, json of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Bennett of Boston, Va. on January 21. The double ring ceremony which took place at the Bennett home at 8:15 p.m. was performed by the Rev. Park Dickerson of Griffinsburg.

Mrs. Henry Elkins returned to her home from the Winchester Memorial Hospital on Friday after being a patient there for two weeks. Her niece Mrs. Richard Costello and Mr. Costello are spending sometime with her Mrs. Aldene Settle of Front Royal was the supper guest Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Willis. Mrs. Odell Williams who is an out patient at the University of Virginia Hospital
