For New Addresses
Thousands of people who are collecting social security checks do not get them as promptly as they could simply because they move and fail to notify social security offices of their new addresses , the Social Security Administrarion has announced. A notice to the Post Office will not get an address changed on social security records, Mrs. Hazel F. Daly, district manager of the Winchester, Virginia social security office, said today. The best way of insuring the prompt and safe delivery of your social security check each month, she said is to let the Social Security Administration know your new address as soon as your plan to move.
