Ellen Gore, 20, of Castleton, right was inducted into the United States Army last Friday. Miss Gore, a nursing recruit, will attend the University of Virginia for two years under the auspices of the army. Under the nursing program she will receive her commission as second lieutenant six months prior to graduation. Swearing Miss Gore in, is Captain Flora Streett; chief nursing recruitefor the Second Army area. Miss Gore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F Gore of Castleton.

Schedules Meeting
An organizational meeting of the Washington Elementary School P.T.A. will be held Tuesday, September 24, 1963 in the auditorium of the school. At this meeting officers will be elected and a schedule for the year planned. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
