Mr. and Mrs. James C. Minnis moved into a 3rd floor apartment in the Medical Arts Building in Culpeper on Monday.
Joe White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carter White of Slate Mills left Sept. 6 with Jimmie Woodward of Culpeper to attend * the Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee. Wesley Thornton of Slate Mills and Billy Minnis of Boston spent" the ^weekend in North Billerica, Mass, visiting Mr. Thornton’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Thornton. Mr. Thornton is employed by the Highway Department as inspector of roads and is making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Carter White. Billy Minnis is on a months furlough after serving in Korea and in the middle of September will be stationed at Vint Hill.
