Club Meets

The September meeting of th£ Woodville Home Detporist'r&fioh .Clut w,a'^rpe)d^Htiip. home of Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Friday the 13th. It whs decided at this meeting to change the regular meeting time from the second Friday to the second Thursday afternoon of each month. Miss Harriet Goode, home agent for the county, gave a demonstration on gifts to make, showing some samples and explaining how to make them to the following members who were present: Mrs. R.M. Johnson, Mrs. Sam Barber, Mrs. B. G. Titchenell and Sue, Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson, Miss Mattie Rector and the hostess, Mrs. C.B. Johnson.

Stork Shower A stork shower was held at the Chester Gap Fire Hall Friday, September 13 in honor of Mrs. Peggy Wines, who received many attractive and useful gifts. In addition to the guest erf honor those present were; Mrs. Weltie Willis, Mrs. Minnie Wines, Mrs. Josie Smith, Mrs. Tiny Fox, Mrs. Lillian Fox and two daugh' ters, Miss Marie Sealock, Mrs. Minnie Kneisher, Mrs. Ada North, Mrs. Minnie Williams, Mrs. Grade Williams, Mrs. Ruby Wines, Mrs. Jean Wines, Misses Shirley and Marlin Wines, Mrs. Odessa Campbell Miss Nancy Wines, Mrs. Patsy Williams, Mrs. Eulice Frazier and two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Wines, Mrs. Barbara Wines, Mrs. Alma Wines, Mrs. Louise Mills and Mrs. Ida Ralls.
