Many people are not aware they don’t have to retire completely to receive social security benefits according to Mrs. Hazel F. Daly, Winchester social security district manager. Mrs. Daly stated that special provisions in the social security law make it possible to receive some social security benefits even though a person may have fairly high earnings. She explained that a person can earn $1200 during the year and receive all of his benefits. And just $1 in benefits is withheld for every $1 earned. Mrs. D«ly
pointed out that a full months benefit is payable for any month in which the beneficiary does not earn over $100 in wages and does not actively ,tengagex in self-employment.
