The farmer-elected committee system provides the individual farmer with a chance to have his say in how ASCS farm programs are run locally. It supplies the mechanism for transmitting ideas on policies and programs from the grassroots. It insures that ASCS programs will continue to be the farmers' programs, based on experienced farm leadership and reflecting ahd adapted to the needs of producers themselves. The farmer’s ballot, cast for the man of his choice, is the key to making the system work.
Typing Class Enrolls 16
The Adult Class in Typing held at the Rappahannock High School, conducted by Mrs. C. B. Palmer, got off to a good start on Wednesday, Septem* her 11 and continued this Wednesday with an enrollment of approximately 16. Classes will be held every Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 for the next fifteen weeks.
