Mrs. R. Frank Miller, also of Richmond. Mrs. Lily Lillard was a Sunday supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke. Mr, and Mrs. Louis Smedley of Washington, D. C. were over night guests Monday of Mrs. Janie Beahm. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Faulkner and two daughters of Orange were Sunday callers of Miss Gladys Winfield and Mrs. William M. Fletcher. Henry Gore of Spotsylvania spent a few days this week at his cottage in Harris Hollow and visited friends in the county.
Guests last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Styer were Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Heine of My Lady's Manor, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Heine have just returned from a tour of the Scandinavian countries. Saturday dinner guests of the Styer's were their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Bridges and their four daughters of Manassas. Jay Cargill, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill of Richmond is reported to be recuperating satisfactorily and has returned home after being hospitalized with injuries received when struck by a car on a Richmond street lgst week. Mrs. T. C. Lea, who was visiting relatives in Georgia at the time, flew to Richmond and is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cargill. Mrs. Bruce Bowie of Culpeper visited her mother Mrs. C. G. Reid at Rose Cottage on Tuesday afternoon.
