No Injuries in Week-end Traffic Accidents
Two minor traffic accidents were reported on Rappahannock highways over the weekend. Neither resulted in any personal injury. Herman Gene Bosley.Stanley, Va. driving a 1960 Renault. lost control of the vehicle on wet pavement Saturday evening. September 28 and ran off the left side of the highway. The accident occurred on Route 211 three miles west of Washington at 9:4 5 p. m. Damage was estimated at $100 by Trooper W. A. Buntin. At 5:10 a.m. Monday morming 2 miles east of Sperryville on Route 211 Wilma Jean Barnhill of Nashville, Tenn. failed to give a proper signal when she made a turn from the highway into Ivy Hill Service Station. Her 57 Chevrolet sedan was struck in the rear by a 1956 Ford operated by Ror bert Lee Fincham of Sperryville, according to Trooper Buntin. There was no personal Injury and damage was estimated at $100.
