Mrs. Jenkins grandson Gregg Mudery is quite ill, Mr. and Mrs. Weston Eugene Kennedy and daughter, Tammy of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kennedy and two daughters, Debbie and Helen of Leon, Mr. and Mrs. John Kennedy and Bill Kennedy of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Kennedy. Mrs. John Kennedy of Marshall spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy and was a Sunday overnight guest. Mrs. Hazel Barfield, Mrs. Mary Gaines and Mrs. Ruth Kennedy attended the Harvest Festival at the Va. Baptist Home in Culpeper on Friday. Mrs. Janie Cave of Reva is caring for Mrs. Nora Jenkins at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fincham in Peola Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Conrad and family of Vienna were Sunday guests of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lemaster and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lemaster are living in the house formerly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Francis Somerville. Mr, and Mrs. Vernon D. Henderson and son of Fredericksburg spent Sunday with her father the Rev. W. B. Dennis. On Monday Rev. Dennis spent the day visiting with Dr. J. R. Boldridge of Rixeyville.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey attended the funeral Friday of Emmett Dofflemoyer of Culpeper. Services were held at the Culpeper Baptist Church with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers returned home Monday evening after a long weekend in Washington, D. C. On Tuesday Mrs. Waver Kennedy .a c c om p a n i e d her daughter, Miss Betty Kennedy of Arlington and her sister, Mrs. Jean Minnis of Culpeper to the Virginia State Fair.
