50-Day Duck Season
A 50 day duck season with a daily limit of three was selected by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries following a public meeting in Richmond August 24, the season to begin at noon (EST) November 16 and end January 4, This is an increase of one duck in the daily bag over last year's season. In addition to the regular bag limit, hunters will be allowed 2 scaup daily. A 10-day increase in the goose season as granted by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service was accepted by the Commission bringing the goose season in on November 7 and letting it end January 15. Goose hunters are allowed 2
