Mrs. Cleve Kenny and Mrs. Harold Davis spent last Friday in Winchester. Albert Williams was a Thurs day visitor in Winchester. Ermand Morris returned to his home last Tuesday from the Winchester Memorial Hospital where he had undergone surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Smith and daughter of the Winchester area visited Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Smith and Mrs. Pet Smith on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kneisher, Mrs. Lois Tobin and two daughters of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Faulkner of Chester Gap and Wilford Frame of Browntown were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock. Mrs. Cleve Kenny took Roger Lee Morris to Charlottesville Wednesday for a checkup at U. of Virginia Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter visited Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Boyd and Mrs. Lethia Kenny were Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris. On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams were visitors in Greencastle and McDonnellsville, Pennsylvania. The official board of the Willis Chapel Methodist Church met with Mrs. Bradley Williams in her home last Friday night. Others present were the Rev. and Mrs. James Grimmer, Mrs. Evelyn Mills, Mrs. Sally Casin, Mrs. Lillian Fox, Dennis Williams, Mrs. Edith North and daughter Bonnie and Miss Dorothy Williams. Mrs. Herman Williams gave a birthday supper honoring Mr. Williams on Saturday night. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mathews and Ricky and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mathews. Among those visiting in this community on Sunday were Mr and Mrs. Marshall Mahoney and family, Mrs. Russell Campbell and Wanda, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Williams and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Priest and sop, Mrs. * Kathleen Spence, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry and family and Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Lockhart. Mrs. "Pet” Smith wenttoth< hospital for a checkup and xray on Monday, returning home the same day. She is recovering satisfactorily from a broken hip which occurred approximately two months ago.
