Johnson arid Miss Mattie Rector. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson and Mrs. H. B. Wood* Jr. attended the District H. Teacher’s Meeting in Purcellvllle on Saturday. Guest on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler were Mrs. Butler’s sister Mrs. C. W. Hawkins, her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Bayne of Florida. Mrs. Cary Thornhill and her sister Mrs. A. B. Hontz of Front Royal visited in Clarksburg, W. Va. over the weekend.
On Tuesday of last week Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Misses Lillie and Virginia Johnson visited Mrs. A. C. Yowell near Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hawkins and family were Sunday guests of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hawkins.
Sunday afternoon callers of Miss Lillie and Miss Virginia Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Maddox and family of Vienna, Mrs. W. K. Maddox and Miss Eunis Maddox of Culpeper. Miss Mattie Rector was a Culpeper visitor last week. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Browning of Culpeper were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood. Mrs. Tom Hisle of Washington, D. C. visited Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners several days last week.
