OUR PRINCIPLES: Our counties are undergoing constant changes. Our farming, which is the county’s basic industry, is fast passing out of existence. Our population continues to shift. The impact of social, economic and political forces must be recognized and dealt with accordingly. Courage is needed to meet this condition.
As an Independent Candidate for the House of Delegates from Fauquier and Rappahannock counties I will attempt to enforce these principles.
I was born in Fauquier Co., in the state of Virginia, Though I have traveled extensively I have always kept in contact with my home by visits or otherwise. If elected I shall attempt to keep you informed on the conditions affecting our counties or elsewhere should the cause arise. I will be available as often as conditions will permit for information or consultation.
I pledge to improve the efficiency of the counties, support the principles of Christianity wherever I am called upon to do so. I am a firm believer of the rights and principles of our fellow man. —James W. Childs.
