j Shooting hours are sunrise I until sunset for all waterfowl ! with the exception of the noon | opener on ducks. The Commission proposed to rescind the regulation which cuts off Back Bay shooting at 4 p.m. This measure will be given final consideration at the next Commission meeting and its passage would put Back Bay on the regular sunrise to sunset schedule observed throughout the rest of the State. The daily duck bag of 3 is further restricted in that it may not include more than 1 hooded merganser, 2 wood ducks, or two mallard and black ducks combined. The possession limit of 6 which applies to birds taken on more than one day may include 2 hooded mergansers, 2 wood ducks and 4 mallard or black ducks combined. Hunters may also possess 4 scaup in addition to the above limit. Hunters cannot legally have more than one day’s bag limit with them while in the fields, forests or waters of the State. The limits on other waterfowl which may be taken during the duck season include 8 coots daily and 16 in pos-t session and 5 American and red breated mergansers combined daily and 10 in possesion. These are in addition to the regular duck limits.
