Social security district.office representatives will give whatever assistance is needed to help workers apply for their disability benefits. The first step, however, must be taken by the disabled person or by someone bn his behalf. “If you know of a severely disabled person who has not yet inquired about getting social security disability benefits, tell him to get in touch with the nearest social security office without delay,” Mrs. Dalv said.
