TEACHERS ATTEND :ti DISTRICT N MEETING
Rappahannock County teachers joined others from surrounding area for the District Teachers Meeting held Saturday at Loudoun Valley High School, Purcellville. The group heard Mr .Richard C. Holmquest, Executive Director of the Virginia Industrial Group, speak on “Learning Opportunities for All*. He stated that industry was slow to locate in Virginia because of the lack of industrial and vocational training available in the schools of this state, and stressed the need for the development of studies in industry.
Mrs, Virginia Lewis Dalton of the Virginia Education Association also made a short talk.

Flowers Collected for
Sale Arrangements
Dried flowers and foliage of every shape and hue have been moved into the Trinity Parish House and meticulous work is being done night and day by members of the Auxiliary of Bromfield Parish. All this is in preparation for the annual Dried Flower Arrangement Sale and House Tour on Oct. 19th and 20th. The homes on schedule for the Tour, Windsor Lodge, Winterton Farm, the Lea House and the Rappahannock Library are being readied to welcome their autumn visitors. If you have friends to whom you wish brochures sent please notify Mrs. Roberta Spalding or Mrs. Ruth Keyser. They will be glad to mail them fOr you. An attractive luncheon will be served at the Rappahannock High School from 12:30 to 1:30 on Saturday, October 19th following the Library Dedication ceremonies. Please contact Mrs. H. B.
