Miss Margaret Broad us Pruitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Pinckney Pruitt Of Louisville, Kentucky became the bride of Charles Dudley Wood, Ensign, United States Navy on Wednesday, September 25 at four thirty o'clock in the Saint Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church Louisville. Mr. Wood is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brereton Jones Wood, Sunny Slope Farm, Flint Hill, Virginia. The Rev. Stephen R. Davenport performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with large urns of Fugi mums stock and lemon leaves and candelabra entwined with Woodwardia fern. A low arrangement of Magnolia leaves were in each window. Mr. Grant Graves, organist, rendered a program of nuptial music and the traditional marches. Mr. Pruitt gave his daughter In marriage. Her informal gown was of light ivory silk faced peau .de soir. The bodice, which had a slightly scooped neckline and elbow length sleeves, had a mock bolero effect with appliques of light ivory Alencon lace set in the midriff. The skirt was bouffant bell shape with a
lege, Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia and was a voice pupil of Adrianna Ludwig of Richmond. She taught last year at the Lakeside School in Richmond.
Mr. Massie is a graduate of Rappahannock High School and is owner and manager of Rose Hill Farm, Washington, Va.
