The marriage of Miss Aney Abigail Melton to Thomas Benjamin Massie was solemnized at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, September 28, in the chapel of River Road Baptist Church, Richmond. The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Franklyn Melton of Sperryville, formerly of Richmond and the groom is the son of Mrs. Wade Massie, Jr. of Washington, Va., and the late Mr. Massie. The ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, who was assisted by Dr. James Raleigh Bryant of Richmond. Louis Johnson, organist, played a program of classical music preceding the ceremony, appropriate 17th and 18th hymns during the ceremony, and the traditional processional and recessional wedding
