But ler, was present for the July meeting of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors, to discuss road improvements Mr. Butler state.d that accord ing to a 12-year improvement plan, all roads with as many as 50 vehicles per day will be hard surfaced. All hard ' surface roads below 14 feet in width will be widened and all „ roads will be stabilized to carry all-weather traffic.'
Mr. Butler said that bridges less than 13 feet Wide will be widened to 19 feet and bridges with a capacity less than 10 ton will be strengthened to carry 15 ton. Route 211 will be four lanes from the Culpeper line to beyond Sperryvilie. The 1964-65 final secondary road budget, presented to the Board by Mr. Butler was approved.
Several short stretches of road which had been Inspected by viewers appointed for this purpose, will be taken into the - highway system if landowners will provide a 40 foot unrestricted and'dear right of way without cost to the state or county. These roads will be taken over for maintenance and improvement.
