Simply because in the industries both management and labor have been on the alert to the Inherent dangers to which their workers and employees are constantly exposed. They have not only encouraged, but put into operation, many safety measures, often rigid ones, that have been directly responsible for reducing the dangers of their various professions. On the other hand, because of the more isolated units of operation, ranching andfarming has no such comparable organized supervision or advanced safety regulations.
