Guests during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland were Lt. Col. and Mra C. R. Hall and family, Julian Wayland and children, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and family and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland of Arlington. Sharon Hall and Jimmy Wayland remained with their grandparents for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague entertained as their recent guests Mr8. Montague’s two sisters, Mrs. Webster Belden of Montclair, N. J. and Mrs. Louis Osborn of Cincinnati, Ohio; also her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. George Newman of Roanoke. Mrs. J. H. Dally was a guest from Wednesday to Friday of Mrs. Rosa Sedwlck and her mother, Mrs. Dovel at Stanley and for the weekend Mra Daily was a visitor in the home of Mrs. Mary Burner in Luray. Mrs. Jack Brown and three sons of Hamilton are spending several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown while Mr. Brown is attending a session at Blacksburg. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Love of Washington, D. C. have returned to the city after spending a two weeks vacation at their country place in Broad Hollow. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillard had as their guests last week Mrs. Pillar’s mother and sister, Mrs. Thomas Morrow and Mrs. W. H. Cardie of Norfolk. Also Mrs. Cardie’s sons David and Louis Cardie who remained for a longer visit with the Pillars. Mrs. H. H. Aylor^and her granddaughter, Stevie Ay lor spent from Sunday until Wednesday in Winchester with Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Streit. Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey and son and Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. were recent visi tors of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers at Flint Hill.
